Trailrunning taster course - The breathtaking sports experience

From the Hochtannberg Pass, we will hike together uphill to the Widderstein Hut and further to the Hochalppass. Once at the top, a tranquil moment awaits us at the Hochalpsee – accompanied by the last rays of sunshine of the day and a very special evening atmosphere in the Alps. For the return journey, we’ll put on our headlamps and set off back to the Hochtannberg Pass in the beginning dusk. A simple yet impressive tour for all who wish to experience the magic of the mountains in the evening calm.

On July 4, 2026, the beach volleyball tournament "King/Queen of Berghaus" will take place at Berghaus Schröcken. Teams of 4 will compete for the title in a wave volleyball mode. Participation is open and free for hobby players. The day before, a warm-up at the beach volleyball court will provide a sporty atmosphere. Additionally, an optional weekend special with accommodation, meals, and wellness will be offered. Registration via email to servus@berghaus-schroecken.at.

Alpine thrill meets magnificent views: The Widderstein East Ridge is one of the most beautiful ridge tours in the region. Sure-footed mountain enthusiasts with climbing experience can expect an exciting route (UIAA 3+) over airy passages to the summit – accompanied by an experienced guide. An intense experience for all those who want to reach great heights!
