The Alpmuseum "Ufm Tannberg" at Alpe Batzen preserves the traditional craftsmanship and alpine farming of past times. Open only in summer, it invites visitors on an exciting journey through rural culture – easily accessible via picturesque hiking trails from Warth or Schröcken.

On this tour, you can expect impressive natural phenomena, exciting insights into cheese production at Fellealpe, stories from the hard life of mountain farmers at the Alpmuseum – and as a magical highlight: the idyllic Körbersee, a power spot nestled in untouched nature. Ideal for nature lovers, culture enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to feel the true Alpine tradition!

Want to run off the pavement? In the trail running taster course with Andreas Tomann, you'll discover the mountain world of Warth-Schröcken in a whole new way – relaxed, close to nature, and without performance pressure. Ideal for beginners: You will learn about technique, equipment, and route selection – and experience how much fun exercising in nature can be!

Every Wednesday from 5 PM, the Hochalphütte at 2,000 meters invites you to a special taste experience. On the natural stone grill, meat, vegetables, or tofu are prepared directly at the table – accompanied by fine dips and side dishes.

In the Atelier am Berg, you can discover your creative side in a relaxed atmosphere. Guided by Ulrike Maria Kleber, you will create calligraphed cards or individual acrylic paintings – no prior knowledge needed. Step by step, you will create unique works for yourself or as a personal gift. All materials are provided on site, and costs are based on effort. Ideal for anyone who enjoys crafting!

From the Hochtannberg Pass, we hike together uphill to the Widderstein Hut, where we enjoy the special atmosphere of the surrounding mountain world during a cozy stop. Refreshed, we continue along the scenic panoramic trail to Hochalppass. Once we reach the top, a quiet moment awaits us at the Hochalpsee – accompanied by the last rays of sunshine of the day and a very special evening mood in the Alps. For the return journey, we put on our headlamps and start our way back to the Hochtannberg Pass in the beginning dusk. A simple, yet impressive tour for all who wish to experience the magic of the mountains in the evening tranquility.

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 12 noon, the inauguration of the new summit cross will take place at Höferspitze. The celebration will only be held in good weather; an alternate date is scheduled for October 5, 2025.
