On the natural toboggan run "from the Höhi" in Warth, all tobogganing fans are well catered for!
The toboggan run is located at the end of the town of Warth and is very easy to get to on foot. The best route is to take the B198 (Lechtaler main road) to Reutte, and on the right hand side after the fire station, you will be there.
The toboggan run is prepared daily and is floodlit until 10.00 p.m. - it is free to use. Should you not have your own toboggan, you can hire them from the local sport shops.
Twice a week organised toboggan evenings are held, and these provide massive fun. Event the ascent is masses of fun, since you a tractor takes care of it. Attached by a chain, you're ready to start in next to no time.
Now you just have to muster up all your strength for the descent. Race down, the narrow right-hand bends are a challenge and on the straights you can really build up speed before braking again at the finish line.
A warming mulled wine and kid's punch await the toboggan fans at the end!
Please note that on toboggan evenings there are specific toboggans available with bespoke equipment. So you don’t have to bring your own toboggan with you or hire one.
