Fishing permits are only issued upon presentation of a valid fishing license.


Please note that fishing equipment must be brought along, as it is not provided on-site.

Important Information

Regulations for fishing at Seebachsee.

  • Allowed baits: Only spinners and flies with single hooks and barbs are permitted.
  • Size limit: A minimum size of 25 cm applies to brook and rainbow trout. Undersized fish must be released carefully.
  • Fishing times: Fishing is permitted from sunrise to sunset.
  • Daily catch limit: A maximum of 4 fish may be taken per day.
  • Permit:
    The permit must be carried at all times while fishing.
    Each catch must be recorded immediately.
    The permit is non-transferable and must be presented upon request.
    Supervisory bodies are authorized to inspect catches, fishing gear, containers, and vehicles.
  • Trade: The sale or trade of caught fish is prohibited.
  • Liability: Fishing is done at one's own risk.
  • Refund: Previously acquired fishing rights will not be refunded.
  • Violations: Illegal actions result in the revocation of the permit without refund of fees as well as expulsion from the area. Serious violations will be reported.
  • Fishing break: Interrupting fishing and subsequently leaving the fishing water is not permitted. Fishing may not be resumed after a break.
  • Parking lot: Fishing from the parking lot is not allowed.
  • Submission of the permit: The permit must be submitted to the tourist office after fishing is finished.
