Path Conditions
The ascent to the Höferkamm begins from the parking lot and continues to the summit of the Höferspitze, which at 2,131 m is known as a beautiful panoramic mountain in all directions. The starting point of the medium-difficulty tour is on the Hochtannbergpass opposite the "Hotel Adler" bus stop. There a zigzagging path leads uphill. The ridge climbs quite steeply at first and then is relatively flat until just before the summit, where it goes up again. The mighty Widderstein towers slightly to the right. On the ridge you will encounter lots of alpine flowers and especially the Turk's cap. After a 1.5-hour ascent and a long summit rest at sunset, you go back the same way to the parking lot on Hochtannbergstraße.
