Path Conditions

The start of the loop is the village square in Warth, from where you walk to the Hotel Steffisalp. Behind the hotel, a path then leads you uphill over the Hämmabach stream to Wolfegg, from where you reach the "Alte Salzstraße" hiking trail and the Hotel Jägeralpe and then on to the Hotel Adler and Salober parking lot. Cross the parking lot in the direction of the Salober-Jet valley station, from where a dirt road leads uphill to the right (family descent in winter). Follow this road, which after a few minutes leads off to the right in the direction of Auenfeld. This path takes you under the Sonnencruiser and Sonnen-Jet cable cars to the Obere Auenfeldalpe. The goods road then leads you to the Untere Auenfeldalpe, where you turn left to the Auenfeldsattel. At the junction, follow the path to the right in the direction of Lech, where you will soon reach the Untere Gaisbühelalpe, where you can park your bike.
