Murmele pass.
Let’s go on an adventure! – Discover the mountains with Murmele.
An unforgettable experience for our young guests:
The Murmele Pass invites children from the age of early walking onwards to explore the region of Warth-Schröcken in a playful way. For just EUR 5.00, little explorers aged around 3 and up can set off on an exciting journey through the impressive mountain landscape.
At various stations throughout the hiking area, children can collect stamps along the way. The pass is available from tourist information offices and local accommodation providers – and offers a wonderful opportunity for children to experience nature in a fun and age-appropriate way.
With Murmele on a discovery tour.
Join Murmele, the curious marmot, on an adventure around Warth-Schröcken. Together, you’ll hike to clear mountain streams, cosy huts, and hidden favourite spots.
At eight exciting stations, you can collect stamps. Once you’ve collected just four stamps, a small surprise awaits you at the tourist office!
Especially enthusiastic adventurers can also collect two bonus stamps – unlocking an even bigger reward. And the best part: you can complete the bonus stamps on your next holiday too.
Murmele’s mini challenges.
Are you ready for my little adventure tasks?

Steffisalp-Express.
Together we race high up into the mountains on the Steffisalp Express. Look around carefully – below us are meadows, rocks, and perhaps even small hidden animal trails. With a bit of luck, you might spot chamois, birds, or a curious Murmele marmot.
Keep your eyes open: can you manage to spot three different animals?

Punschhütte.
Take a moment, pause, and feel the calm of the mountains. Breathe deeply in through your nose, hold it briefly, then slowly breathe out through your mouth – very gently, like the wind brushing over the mountain peaks.
Perhaps afterwards you’ll feel just as relaxed as I do!

Hochalphütte.
Around the Hochalp Hut there is so much to see: colourful flowers, buzzing bees, and wide alpine meadows. Go on an exploration and look closely – can you find three different flowers? Each one has its own colour and shape.
But remember: please don’t pick them, so that the next little adventurers can also discover this beauty.

Auenfelder Hütte.
If you are still and listen carefully, you’ll notice how alive nature is. You might hear birds chirping, crickets singing, or the rustling of small animals in the bushes.
How many different animal sounds can you recognise?

Berghotel Körbersee.
Walk carefully to the shore. Can you see how the water sparkles? If you like, take off your shoes and put your feet into the cool water. Brrr, that’s quite cold, isn’t it?
Maybe even a little fish might swim past you!

Widdersteinhütte.
Stand firmly on the ground, take a deep breath, and shout as loudly as you can into the mountains. Listen carefully: your voice will come back to you as an echo.
Try it again – maybe the mountains will answer once more!

Climbing Parcours Steffisalp.
Here skill is needed! Balance across obstacles, carefully climb from station to station, and hold on tight. I’m a really good climbing Murmele – but what about you? Can you complete the whole course without touching the ground?
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Adventure Trail Schröcken.
On the adventure trail, you can once again show all your courage, attentiveness, and sense of discovery. If you’ve mastered all the stations, you are a true adventure pro.
And I’m sure: a very special reward is waiting for you!
