Road Closure in Winter between Warth - Lech
Please note the permanent winter road closure of L 198 between Lech and Warth. We are therefore inaccessible in winter via the Arlberg Pass (via St. Anton - Lech)!

Birg 1414 is more than just a house to us.
Since 2013, we have been running our guesthouse as the second generation – and the pension has been part of our family for more than 30 years.
We live here. We know the mountains. We know the most beautiful paths, the quietest spots, and also those days when you simply don’t want to plan anything at all.
And that is exactly what we want to share with our guests.
Why is our house called Birg 1414?
Birg is the name of a small region at the Arlberg. The word comes from the local dialect and is mainly used by the people who live here. It perfectly reflects the character of the region we call home – and where we are delighted to welcome our guests. To make the name even more special, we had the exact elevation of our house determined. And, just as the name suggests, Birg 1414 is located at precisely 1,414 metres above sea level.
