  • Course Times: Sunday to Friday, 10:15 - 12:15 and 13:15 - 15:15.
  • Course Start: Sunday and Monday, later entries possible upon request.

Children's Land: 8 hectares of modern area for fun in the snow.

Lift Entrance: Exclusive for ski course children at Salober-Jet Valley and Sonnen-Jet Valley.

Salober Play Hut: Always accessible with warming room, play area, children's restroom, and wardrobe.

Meeting Point

Meeting point: At 10:00 AM at the respective meeting place - for K1+K2 at the meeting place in the children's area, from K3 at the Salober meeting place.

Good to know

What is a trial card for children?

The trial card allows your child to try skiing before you commit them to a full skiing course. If they like it, only the difference to the regular children's ski course price is due.

Lunch supervision from level K3:

In levels K3-K5+, the ski course groups go to lunch together in the ski area. Therefore, lunch is automatically included.

Which ski pass is suitable for my child?

  • Year of birth 2017 and younger: Ski Arlberg Snowman season pass.
  • 1st skiing day Children’s land and older (year of birth 2017): Practice lift pass.
  • For all children's groups up to level K5+: 3 Valleys ski pass.

Additional Notes

  • Don't forget to purchase a valid ski pass before the course starts.
  • Health: Make sure that the children drink and eat sufficiently before the ski course. 
  • Sun cream: Please apply sunscreen to your children before the course.

Difficulty Level

Class Levels for Ski Courses

K1: Beginners:

First time on skis? We begin our first attempts in our practice area, the Salober Children's Land. Here, they learn how to ski straight, the snowplow technique, and connecting turns.

 

K2: Advanced Beginners:

A bit of skiing experience in the children's area, but turning hasn't worked out yet? We will continue from there and repeat braking while solidifying turning skills on beginner slopes.

 

K2+: Advanced Beginners:

On beginner slopes, braking and turning are already done independently? Here, we learn how to use the lift and the proper technique for the first descents in the ski area.

 

K3: Lightly Advanced:

The first descents on easy blue slopes were a challenge? Here, controlled turning on blue slopes becomes child's play.

 

K3+: Lightly Advanced:

Blue slopes are mastered in the snowplow? Here, we reduce the snowplow position and increase speed.

 

K4: Advanced:

Ready for the red slope? Here, we practice parallel steering of the skis and use of the poles.

 

K4+: Advanced:

More technique on red slopes? Here, we zoom through the entire ski area with short and long turns.

 

K5: Top Skiers:

Black slopes are no problem? We...

Amenities

Equipment List for Ski Course

  • Helmet: Required to fit properly.
  • Skis: For beginners, maximum up to chest height.
  • Ski boots: Should be pre-broken in a bit.
  • Poles: Required from level K4 onwards.
  • Goggles: Sunglasses or ski goggles.
  • Clothing: Weather-appropriate and temperature-suitable, possibly spare clothing.
  • Gloves: Important for hand protection, preferably mittens.
  • Buff or scarf: For wind and sun protection.
  • Valid lift pass and ski course ticket.

Rental Equipment

Do you still need equipment for the little ones? Visit the sports shop Jug Sports Arlberg right next to the ski school office. 

Important Information

Important: Children must be diaper-free.
