After eight long months, the time has finally come again: the first runs of the new skiing season are just around the corner. A moment that skiers look forward to all year round. But however familiar skiing may feel – after the long summer break, the body often needs a little time to get back into the swing of things. Your legs need to get used to the movement again, your technique could do with a refresher, and that feeling of confidence on the slopes doesn’t always return straight away.
This is exactly where BACK TO SKI in Warth-Schröcken comes in.
With professional support from experienced ski instructors, getting back into the swing of things is particularly easy. Refresh your technique, refine your movements and regain your confidence on the slopes – in small groups and with personalised tips. This way, that familiar feeling on skis returns quickly, and the joy of those first turns takes centre stage right from the start.
But BACK TO SKI is more than just the perfect start to the ski season. You can combine those first turns with the latest skiing highlights, culinary delights and the winter mountain scenery of Warth-Schröcken. Sport, enjoyment and the special atmosphere at the start of the season make those first days in the snow a truly special experience.

Free ski technique sessions.
Those first few days on the slopes are the ideal time to brush up on your skiing technique and regain confidence in your movements. As part of the BACK TO SKI programme, free daily skiing technique sessions will be offered from 5 to 19 December 2026.
Under the professional guidance of experienced ski instructors, your movements will be analysed, technical fundamentals refreshed and personalised tips provided for safe, dynamic skiing.
The aim is not to immediately return to last season’s level. The focus is on a controlled and safe return to the slopes – so that you can regain that familiar feeling on your skis as quickly as possible.
The sessions take place in small groups of no more than five participants. This ensures there is plenty of time for individual attention, targeted corrections and personalised advice.

BACK TO SKI isn’t just for adults. Our youngest guests can also get the new winter season off to a flying start alongside professional ski instructors.
From 5 to 19 December 2026, a free children’s course will take place daily from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
With plenty of exercise, fun and professional supervision, skiing will once again become a familiar experience. Depending on their ability, children can gain their first experiences or refresh and develop their existing skills.
