Your safety at our summer cable cars.

Protect yourself and others - health is the top priority!

Numerous measures have been taken by the cable cars to make transport to the mountain as relaxed and safe as possible. All cash registers were equipped with disinfection dispensers and discs between guest and staff. A clear hygiene concept for the chairlifts and cable cars has also been developed.

Is contactless payment possible in the hiking area?

Yes, you have the option of contactless payment at all ticket counters and at most of the restaurants on the mountain. We ask you to make use of this opportunity!

Where in the hiking area is it mandatory to wear a mouth-nose protection?

It is mandatory to wear a mouse-nose mask in the stand-up area and during the entire ride on chairlifts and cable cars.

Is it possible to get a mouse-nose mask at the ticket offices?

Yes, a mouth-nose protection is available at the ticket office in Warth-Schröcken.

Can I dispose of used face mask or tissues in the lifts?

No. Please do not leave your used face mask or tissues behind in the cable cars. Dispose of these in the bins provided.

Where are there disinfection facilities in the hiking area?

We provide you with additional disinfection facilities in the sanitary facilities, in the checkout area, in the mountain restaurants and also in other public areas.

Is everything being disinfected regularly?

Yes. All means of transport are disinfected at regularly-spaced intervals on multiple occasions throughout the day. Our gondola lift will be disinfected seamlessly and efficiently using state-of-the-art technology by an atomizer. Similarly, handrails, ATMs, toilet facilities, ski stores and first aid rooms will be disinfected to the extent necessary.

How can employees protect themselves and customers?

All employees, who have direct customer contact (minimum safety distance non-existent) will wear a face mask covering the nose and mouth or will be separated from the customer by suitable protective measures (especially in ticket offices e.g. Glass separation walls). In addition to this, all cable car employees have been trained and made aware of uniform guidelines and rules about the Covid safety measures.

Is there someone resposible for Covid-19 on the cable cars?

Yes. The cable car companies each have an employee responsible for Covid-19, who is responsible for the planning and implementation of the measures. We have similarly developed a hygiene and prevention concept, that can be used as a guiding principle for all employees.

What does the parking situation look like?

Our car parks provide enough space, for you to keep to the safety distance from other people. If it is not possible to maintain the safety distance, mouth/nose protection must be worn. Depending on the number of guests, the number of parking attendants will be increased to ensure a controlled process.

Please always observe the following regulations.

  • Please note the installed information columns and signs in the hiking area.
  • Follow the instructions of the cable car staff.
  • Please keep sufficient distance from strangers.
  • Please observe the hygiene rules and wash your hands regularly if possible.
