Your safety on our ski buses.

Protect yourself and others - health is the top priority!

In winter 2020 our free-of-charge village bus will also take you safely and comfortably from all accommodation in Warth-Schröcken to the ski area and back again in just a matter of minutes. The village bus can be used at any time for travel between Warth and Schröcken - whether that's for winter hiking, cross-country skiing or for a cosy snack stop.

Short journeys in the ski area - maximum journey time is 15 minutes.
We have optimised our bus system for this winter and are using shorter intervals to help with social distancing. Our buses will therefore take you from Schröcken to the ski area every 15 minutes. From the furthest-away accommodation in Warth-Schröcken, the journey time takes a maximum of 15 minutes. This means you can enjoy a relaxed start to your day of skiing.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK ON THE SKI BUS?

Yes, you must wear mouth/nose protection when stepping onto the bus and throughout the journey.
For your own protection, you should also wear a face mask at the bus stops if the minimum safety distance cannot be maintained.

WHERE DO I GET MY BUS TICKET?

In the Warth-Schröcken area, you can use the bus free-of-charge and do not need to purchase a bus ticket in advance. (Zero tariff zone)
For journeys into neighbouring regions, you can purchase bus tickets directly from the driver.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BE AWARE OF?

Despite additional buses being used and shorter waiting times, our buses will be heavily frequented, especially at the peak times between 8am and 10pm, and 3pm to 4.30pm. Please be considerate when entering and leaving the bus and keep to the minimum safety distance of 1 metre. We will react quickly and deploy additional buses when required!

Nevertheless, we ask that you try to avoid these peak times where possible.

Additional hygiene measures.

In order to guarantee your safety as much as possible, the surfaces in our ski buses will be regularly disinfected. Our bus drivers will also ensure there is ventilation throughout the bus.
